What are Class III Approved baby scales?

Class III Approved scales - like the M-310 - are built, tested, verified, and calibrated to meet a specific standard. The NAWI directive determines these standards - stating all scales ‘used in the determination of mass in the practice of medicine for the purpose of monitoring, diagnosis, and medical treatment’ must be Class III Approved. Approved weighing scales are subject to rigorous testing by an EU notified body, which provides assurance to the user of the scales that they are accurate and reliable.

The M-400 Portable Baby Scale comes with a Tare option, meaning you can place a blanket on the scale for the baby to lay on and the weight displayed will be just the baby’s weight. As with most of our portable medical scales, optional carry cases are available for easy transportation.

Bluetooth connectivity is available if wish to send weight information wirelessly from the scale to a database. We do not provide software for receiving weight data from your scale.
